This was my first time doing a gift exchange with someone I haven’t met. We are given a $50 budget to and a little info on our partner. I was paired up with Angie from My So Called Chaos, she is also the person who set this gift exchange up! Things I learned about her prior to shopping: she is a first time mom to a little girl, she loves coffee, stationary, and the color teal. She likes warm scents and peppermint and is non religious but celebrates Christmas. With this info, I was able to find (what I think to be) a great selection of items.
Items 1 and 2:
Only two items were Christmas themed. The first, for her daughter–my mama heart just had to do something for her little girl. I made her this Christmas Bow Set you can find in my etsy shop for $12. The second Christmas themed item was this stationary gift set. I thought it was adorable and perfect to send thank you for other christmas gifts received this season.
Next, I got this set fo 3 pairs of socks and cute slippers from Target’s Bullseye spot! It isn’t exactly teal, but the aqua color hopefully is another favorite of hers. I found this adorable keychain at Hobby Lobby which is the same color. It says “believe in the girl staring back at you”. Since she said she likes peppermint, I also got some yummy peppermint and white chocolate goodies. Items 7-11:
I found these macron bath salts also in the Target bullseye spot, they can fill her like for warm scents, and they also are the same aqua color as the slippers. Win win! Continuing with the macron theme, I found these adorable macron soaps from Trader Joes and a almond macron scented candle which smells AMAZING. I actually picked this candle up for myself on black Friday and love it, so I thought it would be great to include in her gifts as well! Continuing, I got the next two items from bath and body works! Peppermint aromatherapy body lotion to add to her peppermint “likes”, and a coco shea sugar scrub! They both smell amazing.
A pearl coffee tumblr because she said she loves coffee and coffee cups! I of course forgot to include it in the close up photos, but you can see it below in the group shot of all items she was gifted!
I had SO much fun shopping for Angie. I hope to continue to get to know her and hope she loves all her new goodies!
